Creative Connections

Owner of Porto Rico Coffee, Peter Longo, invites students in Teen Entrepreneurship Connections to the company warehouse to learn the history and process of coffee, quality control, and business basics.

Teen Entrepreneurship Connections collaborates with existing 9th and 10th grade English or Math classes 2-3 days per week.  Students learn business skills including math for business and presentation skills. They will conduct market research to determine a potentially successful business to run within the school, and open and run it in the second half of this program.
